Creating Moods With Color

  • Color theme have emotional message.
  • Color generally evokes the same feelings in most people.
  • Each person will react differently to certain color depending on our own emotional state.
  • A color can change a mood from sad to happy from confusion to intelligence, from fear to confidence.
  • Colors can be used to create specific moods but it is not a penance for all ills.
  • Colors improve the interests and activities of the individual.
  • Color is a tool to be used when designing an interior space.

Typical responses to color groups such as:

Nurturing Neutrals

  • Blues and greens
  • Earth colors and colors associated with sea such as sand, shell, coral, pearl, stone, seaweed.
  • Create a sense of peace
  • Dispel loneliness
  • Promote a quite conversations
  • Green help us to adjust to new environments and situation.

Intellectual colors:

  • Earthy warm colors
  • Burgundy and cranberry red ( Earthy shade)
  • Sharp and witty colors which gives a message that the owner has traveled.
  • Grey: which promotes creativity: warm and gentle
